JOSHUA 1 MINISTRIES

My Audience
This site is primarily focused on ministering to the people of God to encourage and strengthen believers.
If you are not a believer in Jesus as Christ and Messiah, the Son of God, and Savior of the world, I encourage you to read the gospel of John in the New Testament. There you will find out about the love of God, the plan of salvation thru Jesus Christ, and the promise of the return of Jesus for those that are saved.

Disclaimer
This is a personal site. All opinions expressed are personal convictions and do not necessarily reflect those of any other individual or organization. I receive no monetary compensation for anything referenced on this site.
I have made an attempt to reference pieces where the artists appear to be holy and trying to follow God. I may not have always succeeded. I know that the Christian music industry contains those that sing and play for profit, and their lives may not reflect true holiness. But the message of the cross will go forth, even if the ones used are not walking as they should. Please focus on the message, not the artist.
Site Content
Links on this site were found using a standard search engine and point to items which are free to access on the internet. These items are things I have personally found to be encouraging and informative.
Scripture verses referenced on this site are taken from the King James Version of the Bible. Comments are my own.
I had lost my joy. I felt like I was dying spiritually. The Bible tells us that the joy of the Lord is our strength, and I had very little spiritual strength. Somewhere along the way, I came to the realization that I had let the cares and troubles of this life cloud my vision of the awesomeness of our God, and the miracle of the salvation that has been given to us as believers. Getting my focus back on the majesty of God has restored my joy.
Later on, others I knew expressed the same feeling of losing their joy. One way God speaks to my heart is thru music. This site is my attempt to use music to help others also regain that sense of wonder and awe at what we have thru Christ.
There are many genres of music on this site. I play piano and viola, and that is why much of the music presented here tends to be orchestral or classical in nature. I grew up with southern gospel music, so you will find quite a bit of that here as well. Every piece was chosen with one goal in mind: to help believers find the joy of their salvation again by telling of the goodness and faithfulness of God, reminding them of the glorious hope of Heaven, and encouraging them to worship our mighty Creator.
And that is where the joy comes from. (Steve Green)
MY CALL TO SERVICE
I eventually came to the place where I felt the call to share my music with others.
I have a heart for the young people that God is calling into service, especially in
the area of music ministry. If this has touched your heart, I would love to hear
from you. Check out the Piano Lessons page for information on how to contact
me.
